Greetings! Thank you to those who attended the Book Club Night on February 7th. Out of our discussion came a book recommendation for further reading for those who are interested in exploring the value of fairy tales for teaching virtues.

The Mysteries of Life in Children's Literature by Mitchell Kelpakgian is a wonderful book that explores fairy tales in addition to familiar children's literature as vehicles toward life lessons that are critical for children to learn to become virtuous adults, adept in prudence among other virtues. It is a book that celebrates the love of life taught through children's literature as a pursuit in direct opposition to today's culture of death.

I heartily recommend this book for anyone wishing to pursue deeper meaning within children's literature. You will truly enjoy his outlook on titles you find so familiar.

Sincerely, Alecia Rolling
