Making Homemade Yogurt the Easy Way

By Alecia Rolling

yogurtThis is too simple and saves! We put 1/4-1/2 cup organic yogurt in a quart-jar. Then, we fill the jar with whole milk. Atop the jar we place a piece of fabric and a jar-ring, so the culture can “breathe”. The jar is finally wrapped in a thick cloth with rubber-bands and put atop the refrigerator for 24 hours. For a slightly thicker yogurt, we add a tablespoon of sugar. That’s it!
